An animated short film adaptation of Amal El-Mohtar’s story, originating as a concept design exercise. Working with a collaborative team, we pushed beyond the assignment’s scope to bring the story to life.

Opening Image: Sound of fighting sounded as a wedding tapetry between a girl and a bear was slashed violently. Theme of marriage and abuse established
Set-up: Tabitha walks across water as she counts her shoes. Visually explaining the shoe’s magical power.
Catalyst: Tabitha came across the glass mountain, and was intrigued by the girl sitting above.
Fun and Games: Tabitha and Amira braids each other’s hair, visually showing their growing affection for each other.

A visual adaptation of Otsuichi’s short story Song of the Sunnyside.In a world where humanity has gone extinct, an android is created to bury her dying creator. To do so, she must first understand what death means—before it’s too late.

My sequence from group Scifi project-The Probe. This depicts the female protagonist pursuing her fleeing comrade, unaware that she is already infected with a space alien, and will not be warmly received by her friend.
